Die Geschäftsführerin von PR13 hat sich bei mir gemeldet und die offenen Fragen beantwortet sowie die Zusammenhänge erläutert. Vielen Dank dafür.Frau Reinhart spricht sich entschieden dagegen aus, dass Vetternwirtschaft betrieben wurde und erläutert in ihrer Email auch die Zusammenhänge.
Es scheint bei ihr der Eindruck entstanden zu sein, dass ich PR13 der Vetternwirtschaft bezichtige, was jedoch in keinster Weise der Fall ist, wenn man den Artikel aufmerksam liest. Alle Äußerungen waren eindeutig als persönliche Eindrücke bzw. Meinungen markiert und sind daher wohl kaum als Bezichtigungen misszuverstehen.

Meine WG hat beim „Aud!max und Microsoft suchen Deutschlands Digitalisten-WG“ Gewinnspiel mitgemacht, ein Video eingeschickt und ist als Zweitplatzierte nach Hamburg zum Launch eingeladen worden. Eine WG aus Hamburg hat mit dieser Bewerbung gewonnen.
Für die Umsetzung dieses Gewinnspiels ist die PR-Agentur PR13 verantwortlich, die ebenfalls in Hamburg sitzt. Wir hatten einen durchaus netten Kontakt mit der Agentur und fanden es auch wirklich toll, dass wir eingeladen wurden, obwohl wir nur Zweiter geworden sind und dieser Preis beim Gewinnspiel nicht ausgeschrieben war.
Auf der Party haben wir dann die PR13 Mitarbeiter und die Gewinner-WG kennengelernt. Schnell haben wir gemerkt, dass sich PR13-Mitarbeiterin K. und Gewinner-WG- Mitbewohner M. wahrscheinlich nicht zum ersten Mal sehen und zudem schon einen sehr vertrauten Eindruck machten. Im Gespräch mit M. hat sich dieser Verdacht dann bestätigt und es wurde hinter vorgehaltener Hand erwähnt, dass man sich schon ca. 5-6 Jahre kenne.
Tomorrow we (the Akzent WG) will hep to launch Windows 7. Well, we will not actually push a button or so, but we will celebrate the launch with the Microsoft and PR13 people in Hamburg.
Why us? Because we almost won the “Aud!max und Microsoft suchen Deutschlands Digitalisten-WG” Contest. Well almost… The jury chose these guys and we are on second or third place… or fourth… who cares. Congratulations to Sarah, Nico and Markus and have fun with the stuff worth 5.000€!
That would have been so great to win, but it is, as it is. The cool thing is that we were not left empty-handed. Microsoft and PR13, Microsoft’s PR agency for Windows 7 and Xbox, invited us to come to Hamburg and celebrate the Windows 7 launch. Flights and Hotel on them. Nice!

Of course I think that our video is funnier then the one of the winners, but I have to admit I like their idea (although it is a bit long-winded). Anyways, I am very happy that we have the opportunity to fly to Hamburg tomorrow and celebrate with everybody. (Chance for us to finally get stuff worth 5.000 bucks… open bar, we are coming! )
Ah and another BTW:
Installed Windows 7 last week. Took less than 30 minutes -> quickest Windows installation EVER! So far nothing to complain. Works fine, faster and more convenient than Vista.
And another great thing: Did not pay for it. Good thing my university is in the MSDN® Academic Alliance (MSDNAA). For those of you, who study, check if your university has an account at this alliance. There you can download Microsoft software legally and for free! I hope Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer are in Hamburg tomorrow, have some great ideas I want to talk about…
