the whole live is a journey – enjoy travelling it

Hallo Followers!
That’s right, you are followers! Why? Because I am an (opinion) leader. Now he went totally megalomaniac you must think. Sort of…

What is this all about?
Wojtek from VICO kindly asked me if I wanted to participate in an opinion-leader-project. I could test products which are not even on the market yet and could write about them whatever I want. Isn’t that nice? Yes it is and I am really looking forward to it! I guess it will be big fun and everybody is invited to watch me having it :)

I could have been testing the products already tonight if my wonderful girlfriend wouldn’t have removed the very big and in her opinion very ugly sticker at my mailbox which says that all packages should be given to my neighbour. Why do women always have to make everything look beautiful?! But that’s a whole different question… back to the topic.

So tomorrow will be my big day. The day when my career as official opinion leader kicks off. I am so excited!

What is he going to test?
You might want to know which products I am going to test:
One of them I use very regularly. One of them I have never heard of. And the last one I have heard of, but was wondering why somebody would buy something.

winNow it is your turn- Win something!
Guess one of the products till tomorrow 10pm (cet) and you will win the leading part in my opinion-leader-project-video-contest-video. If you are almost right we can talk about an internship at my office. Then you can learn how to lead opinions.
So do it! Participate! Simply post a comment.
The mentioned video contest is supposed to boost the fun effect of this whole project. Could work. We will see.

BTW: I kindly ask all other participating opinion-leaders not to spoil my great idea of interactive, interest arrousing and cliffhanger-like game. thank you :)
BTW2: of course all other participants of this opinion-leader-project are excluded of this competition.

My dear followers, please start smashing your brains now and post your ideas right here in the comments.

PS:
If anybody is offended by the word “follower” I am very sorry. But not very much. Everyone of us is a follower. I follow my mind and you follow me ;)

I feel like this whole opinion-leader thing already went to my head. Hope you are prepared for more of that!?

Hello World,

It’s me… Tobias… Yes I’ve been away for a while. Well actually I wasn’t away, I simply had no time to blog. Some things changed during the last months.

First of all I got my admission to the Internatinal Tourism Master Programm at University Heilbronn. Yeah! That is btw why I’ll try to write in english from now on. Not only for practice purposes but also to give my international fellow students the chance to read my blog.

Since I am still living in Künzelsau I have to commute to Heilbronn every day. Means: at least one and a half hour travel time per trip –> 3-4 hours train ride a day. I expected this to be really annoying and stresfull. But it just was a matter of getting used to it. Of course, compared to the time it took me to get to the university in Künzelsau (maximum 10 minutes by bike) this new situation was a big challenge. I thought it would be harder to get used to getting up earlier. However, this is not really that big of a problem. I simply had to structure my self a bit better and develop a more efficient time management (which i am still working on ;) ).

On the bright side I have a lot of time to read during my daily journey. To be honest I have never been better prepared for lectures because of all the time I spend on reinforcing the material or simply reading subject related literature. Before that I almost never took enough time to sit down and work everything through. I wasted so much time by surfing the internet or watching tv. Of course I still like to do that, but I also experienced for myself that checking emails every ten minutes, surfing the net or watching stupid tv shows is not really necessary for me. I can live without being online all the time. Lo and behold! ;)

At the beginning of the semester it sounded a bit different: The first two weeks I felt like I was wasting time during the long travel time. I wanted to have a mobile phone or a netbook to at least check my emails or answer some of them. But it is actually not that important. I can use this time more efficient by reading (not only studies related stuff, also newspapers, novels,…), listening to music, sleeping or just looking at the sky. I recognized, that this is some real quality time which I never really allowed myself. Now that I have some time to relax and really get my mind off of everything, I am more concentrated in the evenings and still am able to work a little bit. It really feels better and the best part is I can enjoy the rest of my freetime with my girlfriend or my friends without thinking about what I still have to do or what I did not managed to do today. Still happens sometimes but I am ambitious to get this to work.

Before that I have always been in a hurry although I had enough time. I did two or three things at the same time and in effect did not really finish one of them (or not to my utter satisfaction). Same thing for this blog:

as you may have recognized this blog is not really structured and I am talking about all the world and his wife. I don’t really have a leitmotif in my posts. That’s why I decided to do some thinking about what are my fields of interest, does somebody care if I share them, do I post private stuff or should it be a “professional” blog only, how to structure it, which categories to use, what do I really aim to achieve with this blog?
This process of thinking is still going on and I don’t know when it is going to be finished. One thing I already know: This blog is not going to work for me without sharing some private information. It’s URL still is tobias-koehler.com and not somebody-talking-about-different-topics.com. But I really want this blog to serve a purpose. Which one has yet to be determined.

As soon as I find the time and inspiration to deal with my blog concept I’ll present the results or maybe even the developing steps here. So please be patient while I try to organize me and my time – because:

Kind regards and best of luck,

kessel.tv is the first stuttgart blog about urban kessel-life between hasenberg, birkenkopf and killesberg. kessel.tv is a blog for proud swabian gangsters, hustlers, bitches, hoes or häuslesbauers and represants music, clubculture, fashion, art and sports. kessel.tv is independant and free of all commercial forces. we do what we want to do. and always remember: it´s great to be a swabian and its much greater to be a stuttgartian.
